If you think you have to travel to Africa to kill an Oryx, think again! New Mexico has free ranging trophy oryx hunts that occur on public lands and land managed by the White Sands Federal Missile Range. Hunts that occur on the White Sands Missile Range properties are referred to as On-Range hunts. These are Once-in-a-Lifetime hunts that occur 6 months out of the year. On these hunts you are allowed to harvest either a bull or cow oryx. On-Range hunts are 3 days in length and run 100% shot opportunity. Average mature bulls/cows on these hunts will be 32”-36”with potential for 40”+.
There is also Off-Range oryx hunts that take place 10 months out of the year in New Mexico. These hunts take place on vast stretches of desolate public land. These hunts are not once-in-a-lifetime tags and the draw odds are substantially higher than the On-Range hunts. Off-Range hunts are 5 days in length and run 90% shot opportunity. Average mature bulls/cows on these Off-Range hunts will be 30”-35” with potential for 40”+. All fully outfitted hunts include clean accommodations, meals, beverages, and professional guide service.

Once-In-a-Lifetime Rifle hunt on WSMR that includes free application service, 2-3 full days of expert 1x1 guide service, field transportation, 4 nights lodging, meals, and beverages for the duration of your hunt. Show up to camp with your hunting clothes and equipment and we will handle the rest.
Fully Outfitted 5 Day Off-Range Oryx Hunts - $6,000/hunter (2x1 Guide Service)
Off-range public land rifle hunt that includes free application service, 5 full days of expert 2x1 guide service, field transportation, 6 nights lodging, meals, and beverages for the duration of your hunt. Show up to camp with your hunting clothes and equipment and we will handle the rest. 1x1 Guide service available for an additional $1,000/hunter.
Not Included: Pricing does not include 7% NM sales tax, state license cost, meat processing/butchering, taxidermy, or customary guide gratuity. Transportation to hunting camp is the client's responsibility.

Oryx tags are issued through the annual New Mexico Big Game Draw. Triple C Outfitters provides a Free Application Service and is happy to assist you with your New Mexico Oryx application. The draw application deadline is March 20, 2024.
Deposit: No deposit is required until you draw your tag. If you are successful in drawing a tag, a 50% deposit is required within 30 days of drawing the tag. The remaining 50% balance is due two weeks prior to your scheduled hunt date.
